The Caribbean's U.S. Virgin Islands are made up of three primary islands: St. Croix, St. Thomas, and St. John, as well as roughly 50 smaller islets and cays. Since they are all in close proximity to one another, it is easy to island hop. Travellers have various options for island hopping, including ferries, planes, and water taxis.

Saint Croix: 1.5 - 2 hours away by ferry.

Saint John: 45 minutes away by ferry.

Charlotte Amalie is the largest city and capital of the US Virgin Islands, located in St. Thomas.
