Cancun is the center for nightlife, with many bars and open-air nightclubs. One popular hotspot worth checking out is Cocobongo. While you only need to see it once to get the full experience, it's a must- do for anyone visiting Cancun.

Drive through the jungle to a real oasis, Cenote Sac Actun, a majestic cavern from thousands of years ago, fully decorated with stalactites and stalagmites.
Swim with Whale Sharks in Cancún:
If you are visiting Cancun from the beginning of June until mid-September, this truly amazing activity is an experience you don't want to miss. Whale sharks are commonly located off the coast of Isla Contoy.
During peak season it’s usual to see 30-40 whale sharks at a time and as they float to the surface to feed on the plankton, you jump to the water and swim alongside them. You will also come across giant Manta Rays and other fish species.
Cozumel
The island of Cozumel is around 45 miles south of Cancun and is a popular cruise port and year-round vacation destination. Vacationers can also fly directly to Cozumel or take a 45-minute ferry ride from Playa del Carmen in Riviera Maya.

Tulum
Tulum has three areas: Downtown, Ruins and the Hotel Zone. The hotel zone is near the ruins and there are multiple eco cabañas, restaurants, spas and more.
Be prepared for there to be a lot of people and tour groups at the archaeological site. To avoid the crowds, it is best to stay overnight and visit the ruins early in the morning before the buses arrive, or later in the afternoon.
